EVENT INFORMATION
DYSTINCT is a global trailblazer redefining Arab pop music, seamlessly blending his Moroccan roots with Western and African influences. Born into the Moroccan diaspora, he bridges cultures through a sound that feels both authentic and internationally accessible. Alongside his core production team YAM & Unleaded, he crafts a modern fusion of Arabic melodies, urban beats, Afro influences, and pop driven by a clear mission: to take Arabic music global while celebrating Moroccan culture on the world stage.
His international breakthrough came with “Ghazali,” the anthem of Morocco’s national team during the FIFA World Cup, followed by worldwide success with “Spider” featuring GIMS. The track reached #6 on Spotify Global, earned 4× Diamond certification, and helped push his total streams past 1 billion. In 2025, his album BABABA WORLD debuted at #2 worldwide and #4 in the UK, featuring collaborations with J Balvin, French Montana, GIMS, and D-Block Europe, followed by a sold-out European tour.
As 2026 begins, DYSTINCT continues his global rise with viral hits like “YAMA” (1M+ TikTok videos, 30M+ Spotify streams, 8 weeks at #1 on Billboard Arabia) and the explosive teaser of “TA3AL,” generating 30K+ TikTok videos in just five days. By blending Chobi and Dancehall into a bold, genre-defying sound, DYSTINCT stands as a cultural ambassador leading the next generation of global Arab artists.
