How To Read A Festival Hall Ticket

Please Note:   Festival Hall does NOT allow patrons to move between areas once in the venue.

There are 2 Main pieces of information to be aware of with your Festival Hall Ticket:

1.  The Licensing

Due to the configuration of the venue, we are able to segment the areas internally. Each area can be either Licensed or Unlicensed and this changes with each individual event and is decided by the Promoter of the event.

'LICENSED AREA'

This means that EACH ticket holder must be over the age of 18 years and be able to produce one of the 5 governement approved photo I.D.'s. These are: Australian Drivers License, Victorian Learners Permit, Keypass, Proof of Age Card or Passport. If you cannot present one of the 5 types of photo I.D. upon entering the venue you will be refused entry and will not be eligible for an exchange or refund.

Note: Birth certificates are NOT photo ID and therefore cannot be used for proof of age, nor can a person under the age be escorted into a Licensed area even if accompanied by a guardian.

'UNLICENSED AREA'

This is an area which can be accessed by anyone of any age.

If the General Admission Standing Floor is an Unlicensed area, there is a Licensed bar downstairs which can be accessed by patrons over the age of 18 who can present Photo ID. No drinks are allowed back onto the main floor and must be consumed in the Bar area downstairs.
If a Reserved Seated area is Unlicensed, this means that there will be no access to alcohol at all.

2.  Floor Tickets

If your ticket mentions the word 'FLOOR' this means you are on the main floor standing area. Please disregard other numbers on the ticket - these are for administrational purposes only.
